Designed for use with existing Process Challenge Devices (PCDs), PCD Test Indicator Strips (Refills / Device-Free) provide the daily routine test strips required to verify the efficacy and penetration capability of sterilization cycles under challenging conditions. By inserting a fresh indicator strip into an operational PCD prior to each cycle, sterile processing staff can reliably confirm whether all critical sterilization parameters have been fully met. Engineered with high-precision chemical formulations, the indicators will not achieve a complete color endpoint in the event of air retention, inadequate vacuum, or insufficient steam penetration—providing a clear, unequivocal warning of a cycle failure.
