SteriVision Plasma PCD – Helix Test Systems are designed to evaluate plasma sterilization performance. By challenging the sterilization process, the system ensures that the plasma gas reaches the target test area. The system comprises a lumen tube containing self-adhesive chemical indicators. When exposed to plasma gas under the required parameters, the indicators change color, confirming successful sterilization.Specifically formulated for hydrogen peroxide (gas plasma) sterilizers utilized in the reprocessing of heat- and moisture-sensitive medical devices, the Plasma Helix Test System (With PCD / Complete Kit) verifies the efficacy of low-temperature cycles. This system assesses the penetration capability of vaporized hydrogen peroxide ($VH_2O_2$) into the internal surfaces of complex, narrow, and long cannulated instruments. Consisting of a dedicated process challenge device and chemical indicators tailored specifically to plasma processes, this set delivers a clear, unambiguous color transition on the strip post-cycle, verifying that critical sterilization parameters (sterilant concentration, exposure time, etc.) were accurately and effectively achieved.
