Plasma (VH2O2) Biological Indicator

Plasma (VH2O2) Biological Indicator 20 Minute

The SVPLBI20M Biological Indicator is specifically engineered to monitor hydrogen peroxide (H2O2 / VH2O2 plasma) sterilization processes. In the event of an unsuccessful cycle, following incubation at 60 ± 2°C, the growth medium transitions from purple to yellow, confirming the presence of viable Geobacillus stearothermophilus spores.

Instructions for Use

1
Pre-Load Preparation

Correctly position the biological indicators inside the sterilization load prior to initiating the cycle.

2
Incubation Process

Upon completion of the sterilization process, incubate the indicators at 60 ± 2°C.

3
Color Transition and Result Interpretation

Verify cycle efficacy by inspecting the color change of the growth medium at the end of incubation:

Purple Medium: Sterilization Successful (Pass)
Yellow Medium: Sterilization Failure (Fail)

Storage Conditions

Store in a dark area at 15–30°C and 35–60% relative humidity.

Do not freeze under any circumstances. Maintain under controlled room temperature conditions.

Keep strictly isolated from sterilants and other chemical agents.

Plasma Rapid Biological Indicator (1 Hour)

The SVSBI1H Steam Super Rapid Biological Indicator is specifically engineered to monitor steam sterilization processes. By detecting the viability of Geobacillus stearothermophilus (ATCC 7953) spores, it delivers rapid and reliable verification of sterilization efficacy.

Following incubation at 60 ± 2°C in the SteriVision Auto-Reader Incubator, the presence of a fluorescent signal indicates sterilization failure, whereas the absence of fluorescence confirms that the cycle was successful. The definitive readout is obtained within 1 hour.

Instructions for Use

1
Pre-Load Preparation

Position the indicators inside the sterilization load prior to initiating the cycle.

2
Incubation Process

Following sterilization, incubate the indicators at 60 ± 2°C in the SteriVision Auto-Reader Incubator.

3
Result Interpretation

At the conclusion of the incubation cycle, verify results according to the fluorescence readout on the device:

No Fluorescence: Sterilization Successful (Pass)
Fluorescent Signal Present: Sterilization Failure (Fail)

Storage Conditions

Store in a dark area at 10–30°C and 30–80% relative humidity.

Do not freeze. Maintain under controlled room temperature conditions.

Keep away from sterilants and other chemical agents.

Plasma Biological Indicator (24 Hours)

SVPLBI24H Plasma Biological Indicators are specifically engineered to reliably monitor hydrogen peroxide ($VH_2O_2$ / Plasma) sterilization processes. Each self-contained indicator consists of a spore carrier inoculated with Geobacillus stearothermophilus (ATCC 7953) and an internal growth medium sealed within a plastic vial. In the event of a sterilization failure, following incubation at 60 ± 2°C, the medium transitions from purple to yellow, confirming the presence of viable spores. If the sterilization cycle is successful, the medium remains purple. The definitive readout must be recorded at the conclusion of the 24-hour incubation period.

Instructions for Use

1
Load Placement

Position the biological indicators within the load prior to initiating the sterilization cycle.

2
Cooling Phase

Following sterilization, allow the indicators to cool for 5–10 minutes.

3
Activation

Crush the internal glass ampoule to ensure complete contact between the growth medium and the spore carrier.

4
Incubation

Incubate the biological indicators at 60 ± 2°C.

5
Result Interpretation

Evaluate cycle efficacy based on the medium color at the conclusion of the incubation period:

No Color Change: If no color change occurs after 24 hours, sterilization is successful (Pass).
Purple → Yellow: Color transition indicates sterilization failure (Fail).
6
Quality Control (Positive Control)

Incubate an unprocessed biological indicator daily as a positive control to verify proper incubation parameters and culture medium viability.

Storage Conditions

Store in a dark area at 15–30°C and 35–60% relative humidity.

Do not freeze. Maintain the product within controlled room temperature limits.

Keep away from sterilants and other chemical agents.
