SteriVision Container Seal with Indicator (SVCSLWI) ensures that surgical instrument and sterilization containers remain securely closed during transport and storage, helping maintain the sterility of the medical devices inside. Developed in accordance with ISO 11140-1, these security seals help prevent unauthorized opening, providing a secure continuous chain of protection through to the operating room and minimizing the risk of contamination.
The heat- and steam-sensitive chemical indicator on the product displays a clear color change when exposed to critical parameters during the sterilization cycle. This allows easy visual verification, prior to surgery, of whether the container has been successfully processed through the sterilization cycle. Manufactured from high-quality, environmentally friendly plastic materials that comply with EU directives, the seals feature a tamper-evident design that can only be opened by breaking, thereby providing reliable assurance of container integrity.
Instructions for Use
After preparing the surgical sets, properly insert the SteriVision Container Security Seal with Indicator into the locking slot on the lid of the sterilization container and secure it.
Place the sealed sterilization container in the steam autoclave. The security seal maintains its integrity throughout the cycle thanks to its resistance to high temperatures and steam conditions.
After sterilization, observe the color change of the chemical indicator on the seal. An intact seal confirms container integrity, while the color change indicates exposure to the sterilization process.
